My husband Clif, and I have been ghost hunting for the past 6 years. We have had many experiences in those years. And I am planning on posting our experiences, video and audio clips, as well as pictures.
On Saturday, June 12, 1999, it seems that we accidentially stumbled across the jackpot of all cemeteries. Well, I better give Credit to Clif for finding this one. While heading to Downtown Charleston to go Ghost Hunting at the downtown cemeteries, Clif spotted a real old looking cemetery. He said we would hit this one on the way back from the others.
When we drove down the road, we saw a few smaller cemeteries, and then a big ritzy looking one at the end of the road. We drove up, and into the ritzy one. We took video and still pictures while driving slowly through there. When we came out, the caretaker was waiting on us so he could close the gates. Clif stopped and asked him how old this particular cemetery was. He didn't know, but told us that this was one of 27 cemeteries in this area!!!! Out of the 27, 22 were African American cemeteries. I thought I was going to die. It's a good thing we were in a cemetery, huh? :)
Well we got some pictures, and a couple of audio clips. I have yet to find but one thing on video. We are in the process of turning these into wavs and format for the computer. They will be ready to put up very soon.
In the meantime, some of our readers have shared their true hauntings with us, so take a look. I also have up, a few of the recent stories in the downtown cemeteries, and the 27 cemeteries we found. So take a look around and enjoy!
